Meet Our Team
Led by Dr. Kristin Speer, an expert in clinical pharmacy, our pharmacovigilance team includes Dr. Garrett O'Brien, a pharmacologist with a PhD in biochemistry; Dr. Sean Owens, a medical doctor and pharmacist; and Dr. Vlad Nutu, a medical doctor specializing in cannabinoid research. Together, we are committed to advancing safety through vigilant monitoring of psychedelics, cannabinoids, ketamine, and other treatments across retreat, industry, and clinical settings.
Dr. Kristin Speer
Clinical Pharmacist
Dr Kristin Speer is a pharmacist with a PhD in Clinical Pharmacy. Kristin has an impressive track record of working in multi-sectors Related to clinical pharmacy (end of life and pain management). Kristin is one of our founders and she has developed the Interaction Checker Portal that we offer to clients. Based in Colorado she has witnessed and been a part of the re-scheduling movement for Psychedelics in Colorado and in driving the safety considerations and protocols around use of these medicines.
Dr. Vlad Nutu
Medical Doctor
Dr Vlad Nutu. Medical Doctor, published author and expert in the medical applications of cannabis with nearly two decades of experience, member of prestigious international cannabinoid research and regulatory bodies, providing key insight into the benefits of the plant. Vlad is currently based in Romania.
Dr. Garrett O'Brien
Pharmacologist
Dr Garrett O’Brien is a trained pharmacologist with a PhD in biochemistry. Garrett has been Based in the research industry for the last decade primarily in Chief Scientific Officer roles. His knowledge fo drug-drug interactions and the risks associated with these is second to none. Garrett is based in Belfast, Ireland
Dr. James Linden
Director
Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Queen's University, Belfast. Expert psychedelics, pharmaceutical industries, and clinical research. Founder of Greenlight Pharmaceutical Ltd, a cannabis R&D company, raising €6m in private equity and €3m in grant funding. Built various investable companies in medical R&D.
Dr. Sean Owens
Medical Doctor & Pharmacist
Dr Sean Owens. Medical Doctor and Pharmacist (Ireland/UK), Sean has been involved in researching Plant based medicines since 2015 when he took on a Chief Medical Officer role in the first Medical cannabis research company in Ireland. Sean is an active member of the medical Community in Ireland and runs the group for doctors who are interested in plant-based diets. Sean is currently based in Ireland.
